Susan Kim is a five-time Emmy nominee and four-time WGA nominee for her work in children's television and documentaries. She wrote the stage adaptation of Amy Tan's The Joy Luck Club and co-authored two graphic novels with Laurence Klavan. She teaches writing at NYU and Goddard College, and is a blogger for the Huffington Post.
Laurence Klavan's previous novels include The Cutting Room and The Shooting Script (Ballantine Books), and he is also the co-author of two graphic novels, City Of Spies and Brain Camp. His Edgar Award-winning novel, Mrs. White ( Dell), was made into the film White of the Eye. He is the recipient of two drama desk nominations for the book and lyrics to Bed and Sofa, the musical produced by the Vineyard Theater in New York.
